What is Wyler Assurance?
Wyler Assurance is coverage offered on select vehicles under 10 years old and with less than 100,000 miles on it. Which Vehicles are Covered by Wyler Assurance?
Assuming all other prerequisites are met, vehicles still must pass a multi-point inspection and reconditioning process. Vehicles sold as-is are not eligible, and certain makes, models, powertrains, equipment packages, and commercial use by the prospective owner may preclude Wyler Assurance. ÂWhat Does Wyler Assurance Cover?
Wyler Assurance covers Dayton drivers in a variety of ways. Your gasoline or diesel engine's internally lubricated parts are all covered, including pistons, piston rings and pins, crankshaft and main bearings, connecting rods and rod bearings, camshaft and bearings, oil pump, timing chain, gears and/or belt, rocker arms, valves, valve springs, seats and guides, valve push rods and lifters - and all associated seals and gaskets. Your engine block and turbocharger are also covered by the failure of an internally lubricated part.
Transmission and transfer case components are covered, too. Internally lubricated parts - and failure of a transmission or transfer case because of one - are entirely covered. That includes bands, clutch packs, gears, pumps, shafts, shift forks, shift rails, synchronizers, and solenoids. The torque converter, bell housing, vacuum modulator, transmission mounts, and transmission pan are also covered.
Finally, there are drive axles, which are also covered by the failure of an internally lubricated part. Those parts include axle shafts, differential cover, universal joints and yokes, constant velocity and double offset joints, drive shaft center bearings, supports, propeller shafts. Gaskets associated with those parts are also covered.
